Still waiting to get kit sorted for a new contract. Apparently I can’t just collect from the office I have to go into, my options were get it posted or go to London, which is at least a 6 hour round trip. Feels like worst possibly mix of remote and office based worked.
Went to a festival in London with my partner, and had a lovely time. the 90s revival was in full swing, most obviously when the tent for Mood II Swing was absolutely packed.
Finally got a start date for work, which is nice.
Went gig boat rowing and saw a film about Werner Herzog trying to drag a boat up a hill to make a point about man’s hubris. The lack of self awareness was sort of amazing.
