  • Week 5: The vending machine capital of Europe

    Cracked into my first interview at work, which brought the usual level of ‘oh right thats whats wrong, and thats what we need to do’ so much easier to see form the outside.

    Also did a couple of days cycling around Belgium. Was suprised to see a huge variety of vending machines, including ones for raw meat, one for beauty products, and one that included a entire tub of mayo.

  • week 4: Le bonk

    I finally started my new job. Nobody is quite sure what they want me to do, but this is depressingly common as a contractor. It will get sorted.

    We’ve hit the season where suddenly the allotment has become like a jungle. Plants that didnt exist are suddenly towering over the beds. There is something sort of mad about how something can just appear, where that was just space a flower suddenly exists.

    Did a nice 40mile cycle with some excellent chips. Vinegar seems to just not work any more when it comes to chips. What happened to chip shop vinegar? I need to feel my teeth melting,

    Not sure about this whole AI thing. It feels more immeidately useful than say blockchain, however hard to know if its a self driving cars situation where it never quite gets going.

    This is week 3 of this time of losing my bluetooth headphones in my flat. This time.
